Congratulations to five outstanding Foremost School students in Grades 10 and 11 (Grayson, Braxton, Rylan, Adison & Carl) who recently represented our school at the Edison Motors EV Challenge in British Columbia competing amongst 19 teams and brought home BRONZE medals in both the Log Pull Competition and the High-Speed Track Race! 🥉🏁 Their success also earned each student a scholarship, recognizing their hard work, innovation, and dedication throughout the project. The Edison Motors EV Challenge provides young Canadians with hands-on experience in trades, technology, and engineering while inspiring interest in the rapidly evolving automotive industry. Our students assembled their kart from an Edison Motors kit, using a frame generously donated by Ed Rarick. A huge thank you goes to Wally Florchinger of Wally's Welding for his countless hours of leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance throughout the project. Wally also accompanied the team to BC and even took part in the adult division of the competition! This achievement is a testament to the power of community support, hands-on learning, and student perseverance. Falcon Nation is incredibly proud of these students for embracing the challenge and bringing home hardware from a highly competitive event. Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment!
